The cidābhāsa is not ātmā
The light of a lamp, and space enclosed by the light is non-different, but is also different. The fire and iron ball in a heated ball of iron are not different, but appear different.
In the same way, though the antaḥkaraṇa and ātmā appear non-different, they are different. After all, the antaḥkaraṇa does not function in suṣupti, but the ātmā which is the sākṣī for the ignorance [in that state] is known.
