विज्ञानमयकोशादहं भिन्नः इति कथं ज्ञेयम्
बुद्धिः घटवत् लयावस्थावती विनाशिनी। अहं लयावस्थारहितः तद्विलक्षणः अविनाशी। अतः नाहं विज्ञानमयकोशः, न तन्मम। तत् सूक्ष्मदेहस्य। अहं तज्ज्ञः आत्मा तद्भिन्नः। एवं विज्ञानमयकोशादहं भिन्नः इति ज्ञेयम्।
How do I know that I am different from the vijñānamaya kośa
The buddhi – like a pot – is subject to being unmanifest and destruction. I am never unmanifest and an not subject to destruction. Thus, I am not the vijñānamaya kośa, nor is it mine. It belongs to the sūkṣma deha. I am it’s witness and am different from it. Thus, it should be known that I am different from the vijñānamaya kośa.
