मायायां ब्रह्मप्रतिबिम्बो वर्तते। सः प्रतिबिम्बः अधिष्ठानभूतब्रह्मसहितः उपाधिभूतमायासहितश्च जगत्कर्ता सर्वज्ञः ईश्वरः।
अत्र मायाशब्देन शुद्धसत्त्वगुणप्रधाना माया, तमःप्रधानप्रकृतिश्च गृह्यते। इमौ द्वौ ईश्वरस्य उपाधी। मायोपाधिकः ईश्वरः निमित्तकारणं जगतः, यथा कुलालो निमित्तकारणं घटस्य। तमःप्रधानप्रकृत्युपाधिकः ईश्वरः उपादानकारणं जगतः, यथा मृत्तिका उपादानकारणं घटस्य।
अविद्यायां ब्रह्मप्रतिबिम्बो वर्तते। सः प्रतिबिम्बः अधिष्ठानभूतकूटस्थसहितः उपाधिभूताविद्यासहितः भोक्ता अल्पज्ञः जीवः।
What is the result of prakr̥ti bheda
In māyā, the brahma consciousness reflects. This reflection, along with the underlying adhiṣṭhāna and the māyā-upādhi is the all-knowing īśvara who is the creator of the jagat.
The word māyā here refers to both māyā that is dominated by śuddha sattva guṇa as well as prakr̥ti which is dominated by tamas. Both of these are īśvara’s upādhis. Īśvara with māyā as the upādhi is the nimitta kāraṇa of the world, like a potter. Īśvara with prakr̥ti as the upādhi is the upādāna kāraṇa of the world, like clay.
In avidyā, the brahma consciousness reflects. This reflection along with the substratum that is kūṭastha, and the upādhi that is avidyā is the limited-knower jīvā that is the bhoktā.
