सुप्तोत्थितः “न किञ्चिदवेदिषं” इति जानाति। इदं ज्ञानं नानुभवरूपम्। किन्तु सुषुप्तौ अनुभूतस्य अज्ञानस्य स्मृतिरेव। स्मृतेः विषयः सौषुप्तिकं अज्ञानम्।
Is ajñāna in suṣupti an anubhava or smr̥ti
After waking up from deep sleep, we know “I knew nothing”. This jñāna is not current exerience (anubhava). It is memory (smr̥ti) of the ajñāna which was experienced. The object of smr̥ti is the ajñāna during suṣupti.
