नाहं सप्तदशकलाः न ताः मम इति कथं ज्ञेयम्
शब्दश्रवणे अहं ज्ञाता। शब्दाश्रवणे अहं ज्ञाता। एवं श्रोत्रं नाहं न तन्मम। श्रोत्रं आकाशस्य। अहं तज्ज्ञाता द्रष्टा घटद्रष्टृवत् तद्विलक्षणः।
एवं सर्वत्र ज्ञेयम्।
how do I know that I am not the 17 parts
I am the seer of listen to śabda. I am the knower of the listening. Thus, I am not the ears, nor is it mine. The ears are ākāśa. I am it’s knower, like I know a pot, and I am different from it.
In the same way, it should be known for all 17 kalās.
