ब्रह्म नात्मनः कारणम्
ब्रह्म आत्मस्वरूपमेव, यथा महाकाशः घटकाशस्वरूपः। न च तद्भिन्नम्। अतः न ब्रह्म आत्मनः कारणम्।
brahma is not the cause for ātma
Brahman is the nature of ātma itself, just as the mahākāśa is the nature of ghaṭākāśa. It is not different from it. Thus, brahman is not the cause of ātma.
