आरोपः कदा कुतः जायते
कस्यचित् पुरुषस्य वस्त्रे तैलकलङ्को जातः। दृष्टे सति वस्त्रस्य स्वच्छीकरणे प्रवृत्तिः। कलङ्कः कदा जातः, कुतो जातः इति विचारः निष्प्रयोजनः। एवं प्रपञ्चस्य आरोपः कदा जातः, कथं जातः इति विचारोऽपि निष्प्रयोजनः। परन्तु तन्निवृत्त्युपायः योग्य एव।
When and how does āropa arise
Some person was wearing clothing stained by oil. Once realized, he cleaned himself up. Enquiring into when the stain occurred, or how it occurred is not worthwhile. In the same way, enquiry into how and when āropa occurred is not worthwhile. But removing the āropa is worthwhile.
