चैतन्यं किम्
चैतन्यं ज्ञानरूपम्। सर्वघटादिप्रपञ्चस्य ज्ञाता। स्वेतरमनइन्द्रियादिभिः अज्ञेयम्। (स्वेतरसर्वाप्रकाश्यत्वे सति स्वेतरसर्वप्रकाशकम्)
What is caitanya
Consciousness is of the nature of knowledge. It is the knower of the pot and all creation. And it is not knowable by other entities such as the mind, senses etc. It reveals all others, and is revealed by no other.
चैतन्य सो क्या है
उत्तर – (१) जो ज्ञानरूप है। औ
(२) सर्वघटादिकप्रपंचकूं जानता है औ
(३) जिसकूं अन्य मनइंद्रियअदिक कोई
जानि सकते नहीं।
सो चैतन्य है॥
