वायोः कार्यं किम्
वायोः सत्त्वगुणांशात् त्वगिन्द्रियं संभूतम्। वायोः रजोगुणांशात् पाणीन्द्रियं संभूतम्। श्रोत्रस्य विषयः स्पर्शग्रहणम्। हस्तस्य विषयः निर्वाहः। त्वक् ज्ञानेन्द्रियम्। हस्तः कर्मेन्द्रियम्। ययोः द्वयोः मैत्रीसंबन्धो वर्तते।
what results from vāyu
From vāyu’s sattva guṇa, the knowledge sense organ of skin is born - which touches. From it’s rajo guna, the action sense organ of hand – which grasps. There is a friendly relationship between these two sense organs.
