५ – स्वप्रकाशं + निर्मलम्
स्वस्वरूपं स्वप्रकाशं + निर्मलम् — स्वप्रकाशत्वमात्रोक्तौ उपासकमतसिद्धात्मन्यतिव्याप्तिः। तस्य स्वप्रकाशत्वेऽपि अविद्यादिमलवत्त्वेन निर्मलत्वाभावान्नातिव्याप्तिः।
ātmā is sva-prakāśa (self-effulgent); ātmā is nirmala (pure). Some upāsakas accept limitations of their svarūpa. But our svarūpa bears no such stain.
