श्रीकाशीक्षेत्रे श्रीमायूरक्षेत्रे उषित्वा अविच्छेदेन पञ्चविंशतिवत्सरपर्यन्तं आस्तिकेभ्यो धर्मब्रह्मविद्या उपदिष्टवद्भिः शमदमादिसाधनसम्पन्नैः वेदशास्त्रेतिहासपुराणादिग्रथकोशालयं कञ्चित् प्रतिष्ठापितवद्भिः श्रीवासुदेवब्रह्मेन्द्रसरस्वतीस्वामिभिः अतिसरलया संस्कृतभाषया संप्रणीतः पण्डितोत्तमसाधुनिश्चलदासकृत-हिन्दीभाषामय-विचारसागरस्य संस्कृतानुवादरूपः श्रीवासुदेवब्रह्मेन्द्रसरस्वतीस्वामिभिरेव संपादितया अवश्योपयुक्तया टिप्पण्या समलङ्कृतश्चायं संस्कृतविचारसागरनामा प्रबन्धः शीस्वामिनामेव ग्रन्थकोशालयपालकसमित्या मुद्राप्य प्रकाशित इति ज्ञात्वा नितरां मोदामहे।
अद्वैतशास्त्रप्रमेयबुभुत्सूनामुपकाराय कृतस्यातिसुलभया रीत्या अद्वैतशास्त्रप्रमेयान् भगवत्पादीयभाष्य-तद्व्याख्यानोपव्याख्यानादि-प्राचीनग्रन्थाविरोधेन सुस्पष्टं प्रदीपवदवभासयतश्चास्य ग्रन्थस्य पठनेन श्रीमहात्रिपुरसुन्द्रीरमणश्रीचन्द्रमौलीश्वरप्रसादेन चास्तिकाः सर्वेऽपि सकलाः प्रेयःश्रेयस्ततीः अवाप्नुवन्त्वित्याशास्महे।
śrī vāsudeva brahmendra sarasvatī lived in the holy cities of kāśī and mylapore and incessantly taught dharma vidyā and brahma vidyā to the āstikas there for twenty-five years. Endowed with śama, dama and other sādhanas, he established a library with books on vedas, śāstras, itihāsas, purāṇas etc. He translated the great paṇḍit sādhu niścala dāsa’s hindi vicāra sāgara into saṁskr̥ta, with very simple language, along with very useful footnotes.We are very pleased to know that this work, titled the saṁskr̥ta vicāra sāgara was published my his own library committee.
For those that desire to know the subject matter of advaita vedānta, this work explains it in a very simple manner, with great clarity, in line with bhagavatpādá’s bhāṣya, the vyākhyānas on it, the upavyākhyānas on them, without contradicting any of the works by the traditional giants. Like the light from a lamp, may reading this work confer all preyas and śreyas along with the prasāda of mahātripurasindarī and candramaulīśvara.
